Accessibility statement

What this site conforms to, how we tested it, what we know is not perfect yet, and how to tell us when we get it wrong.

Our commitment

ADA Mitigation is committed to making this website usable by everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We would be poor advocates for accessibility if our own site were not accessible, so we hold it to the standard we sell.

Conformance status

This website has been designed and tested to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. “Fully conforms” means the content meets all applicable Level A and Level AA success criteria without exception. Any exceptions we are aware of are listed under known limitations below.

Measures we take

  • Accessibility is part of the definition of done for every change to this site.
  • Pages are built from semantic HTML, with landmarks, headings and native controls in preference to custom ones.
  • Every page works with JavaScript disabled; scripting only enhances.
  • All content is keyboard operable, with a visible focus indicator that is never obscured by the sticky header.
  • Colour contrast is verified programmatically against WCAG thresholds for both the light and the dark colour theme.
  • The layout reflows to a 320 px viewport, tolerates 200% text zoom and user text-spacing overrides.
  • Motion is reduced automatically when the visitor’s system asks for it.
  • Forms have persistent labels, programmatic error identification, suggestions for correction, and announced status messages.
  • Interactive targets are at least 24×24 CSS pixels; primary controls are larger.

Assessment approach

This site was self-assessed by ADA Mitigation using automated rule-based testing, manual review against all Level A and AA success criteria of WCAG 2.2, and testing with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification and forced-colours mode. We are happy to share the assessment record on request.

Known limitations

We currently know of the following limitations. We would rather list them than pretend they do not exist.

  • Third-party embeds. Where we embed content we do not control (for example a scheduling tool or a video player), its accessibility is partly outside our hands. We test what we embed and drop suppliers that will not fix reported barriers.
  • Older documents. Some PDFs published before this site was rebuilt may not be fully tagged. Ask us and we will send an accessible version, usually within two business days.

Compatibility

This site is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, in combination with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack. It is not designed for browsers more than three major versions old.

Feedback — and what we will do about it

If you meet a barrier on this site, please tell us. We treat that as a defect report, not as feedback.

We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to describe a fix or a workaround within 10 business days. If we cannot fix something quickly, we will give you the information you were trying to reach by another route in the meantime.

Formal complaints

If our response does not resolve the problem, ask for it to be escalated by writing to litigation-support@adamitigation.com. Complainants in the United States may also contact the Department of Justice’s ADA Information Line; visitors in the European Union may contact the enforcement body designated under their national implementation of the European Accessibility Act.

Formal approval and date

This statement was prepared and approved by ADA Mitigation. It applies to adamitigation.com and was last reviewed on 29 August 2026. We review it at least every 12 months and after any significant change to the site.
